TTC plans early nightly subway closures on parts of Lines 1 and 2
Subway service will end early between York Mills and Eglinton, and between Kipling and Jane, on several nights from Oct. 5 to 9. Shuttle buses will serve both sections.

TTC board approves 2026 budget with fare freeze and nearly 200,000 more service hours
The TTC’s board-approved budget includes a third consecutive fare freeze, fare capping and added service. Most of the budget now goes to the city for consideration.
